CMC Announces ApexCM Price
Increase Effective January 1, 2012

Effective January 1st
2012, Carbolytic Materials Company will be
increasing the price of ApexCM carbon by
$0.06/pound.
In addition we will be adjusting the
premium for material packaged in 50 pound Batch
Inclusion bags to $0.06/pound from
$0.0461/pound.
“Throughout 2011 CMC spent considerable
time and capital rebuilding its production lines
which will result in higher capacity at its
Maryville, Missouri production facility”, stated
James E. Howard, president and COO of Carbolytic
Materials Company.
“Additionally we are pursuing additional
capital to finance further expansions at both
its existing site and new sites in North
America.
CMC recovers carbon and oil
products from shredded tires.
They recently upgraded production
capacity at their Maryville, MO facility,
enabling it to manufacture considerably higher
production volumes.
ApexCM is used in various rubber,
plastics and specialty performance applications.
