Company will be increasing the price of ApexCM
carbon by 5 cents per pound effective August
15th, 2011. “Demand for ApexCM continues
to grow very quickly, both in the US and
internationally”, stated James E. Howard,
president and COO of Carbolytic.
“To
support this strong growth we are currently
considering several possibilities for
expansion”.
CMC recovers ApexCM carbon and two grades
of oil products from shredded tires.
They recently upgraded production
capacity at their Maryville, MO facility,
enabling it to manufacture considerably higher
production volumes.
ApexCM is used in various rubber,
plastics and specialty performance applications.
