Demand for ApexCM Grows - CMC Announces Price Increase

August 15, 2011

Carbolytic Materials Company will be increasing the price of ApexCM carbon by 5 cents per pound effective August 15th, 2011.  “Demand for ApexCM continues to grow very quickly, both in the US and internationally”, stated James E. Howard, president and COO of Carbolytic.   “To support this strong growth we are currently considering several possibilities for expansion”.  CMC recovers ApexCM carbon and two grades of oil products from shredded tires.  They recently upgraded production capacity at their Maryville, MO facility, enabling it to manufacture considerably higher production volumes.  ApexCM is used in various rubber, plastics and specialty performance applications.

Should you have any questions please contact Carbolytic Materials Company directly.  We thank you for your support of ApexCM in the past and look forward to meeting your business needs going forward.

Kind regards,

Jim Howard
